Greening the Heartland 2010 offers outstanding sessions, tours, workshops, networking, and more!
Conference hosts—the Minnesota Chapter of USGBC and Minnesota Green Communities—are joining forces in 2010 to present the 7th Annual Greening the Heartland. The conference seeks to provide key partners in all areas of the green building industry the opportunity to increase their knowledge base and network with others. This year’s theme, BRIDGING, seeks to draw valuable connections between people, places, and ideas to help create a sustainable heartland region and beyond. Greening the Heartland 2010 offers:
-
40 outstanding workshop sessions with a wide range of green building and design topics. (All 40 sessions have been approved for GBCI CE hours towards the LEED Credential Maintenance Program and 39 sessions have been approved for 1.25 AIA LU’s. Additional credits for AICP and Corporate Real Estate are pending approval.)
-
A robust and interactive exhibit hall with over 100 exhibitors showcasing green products and services. (Exhibitor stage speaking slots, exhibit booths, and sponsorship opportunities are still available!)
-
Pre- and post-conference workshops and tours (Including tours of Target Field, TCF Stadium, Minnesota Green Communities demonstration projects, and other Twin Cities LEED developments, a Twins Game, and more!)
-
Social events and networking opportunities with the estimated 1,000 attendees from across the Midwest.
-
Keynote speaker Cameron Sinclair of Architecture for Humanity. Sinclair is not only an architect, but an author, humanitarian, and world-class visionary.
